Credentialled Exercise Physiologist
Piper Goldie is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist registered with ESSA. She completed her Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology and Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science at Deakin University, Melbourne. She has experience in private practise, inpatient/outpatient hospital services, and elite sport. This is where she discovered how exercise can be a powerful tool for the treatment and management of chronic health conditions.
Piper is interested in cardiometabolic conditions such as type 1 and 2 diabetes, obesity, cancer, PCOS, metabolic syndrome, and hypertension. She also has experience in neurological, musculoskeletal, and mental health presentations. She loves to see people achieve their goals and make progress that they did not think possible regardless of their diagnosis.
Piper has always enjoyed exercising and her passion is something she wishes to share with her clients. She believes that everyone should have the knowledge and empowerment to be able to achieve their own health and exercise related goals. She will ensure that you are comfortable, supported, and challenged in a way that is conducive to your long-term objectives.
Meet our Diabetes & Endocrinology Team
Dr Devina Joshi works closely with Sally Benedek, Credentialled diabetes Educator and Kellie Millard, Accredited Practising Dietitian to provide comprehensive management for all people with diabetes. They all have a broad range of expertise in dealing with Type 1 diabetes including the use of Continuous Glucose Monitoring System (CGMS), insulin pump therapy and multiple daily insulin injections. They are able to assist people with Type 2 diabetes including those with severe insulin resistance and obesity. They will utilise the best practice in both lifestyle measures and pharmacotherapy to get the best possible outcomes for their clients.
